What a crappy week...

A blizzard hit us from out of nowhere and almost snowed us in. We lost power around mid-day due to an accident down road. It came back on after a few hours. The weather is still bad. The weather is still bad, becoming worse here and there, but we are still warm with a roof over our heads, food in the fridge and power. I bought a few things just in case we have another blackout.

Soryane upgraded from a car to a van, which is bigger and more suitable for a family of four and convention traveling. However, the battery froze and the car wouldn't start. So we were car-less for a few days. We couldn't drive our daughter to daycare and it was too cold to carry her there. The dealership sent a tow truck to pick up the car. Today, Soryane is on her way to get it back, all fixed up.

We lost internet for a few days, not because of the blackout or weather, but we were changing providers. Got something that was better and cheaper. However, we had to cut off the old internet plan and wait until our new provider plugged us in. We had no internet for almost a week, which mean no cartoons for lily and can't work on commissions. Our new provider mixed up the dates to give us internet, so we had to wait 2 extra days for them to figure out what was going on and why we didn't have internet connection.

Large fight with a few friends online due to differences of opinions and made-up rumors that spread. Some of our friends showed their true faces and we had to cut them off. Basically, our friends circle shrunk. It sucked...

That was our week. Now I need to get back to work and do catch-up on commissions. I apologize for vanishing for a week, but due everything that was happening in the coarse of a few days, it distracted me from working.
